Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actor from Canada. Best known for the character as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and the four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the most outstanding supporting actress. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised her role in the films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her most prominent role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall will be remembered by her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. The well-known actress' performance as Samantha Jones has been a crucial event in her career. The sitcom not only amplified her popularity amongst the national audience but made her an international star giving her much fame and recognition. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most famous role is her role in the dramatic comedy film La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar as well as received the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival of 1960. It was also both critically and commercially highly acclaimed. Before her professional career as an actress, the Skane-born model worked in fashion. The final result was winning the Miss Sweden Contest. In the US, she started appearing in movies with minor parts. Her first film credit was Venusian as Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. Then, shortly after, her role as a bloody woman in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising young actor.
